My History

I have been reading for 24 years for myself and just opened to the public. I come from a background of healers and am studying plant medicine, completing study at the Curanderismo Institute at the University of New Mexico and now with the Empress Karen Rose in NYC. I learned with the Rider Waite deck and use the Rider Waite. I am a painter by day, making abstract paintings that also utilize intuition, language, and plant studies and consider my intuitive practice in tandem with my creative practice. I read for lots of artists, curators, musicians, djs, actors, creative people, plant people, punks, and freaks and I love each conversation I can hold via the cards :)

My System

I open every reading with a guided meditation to connect us to one another and the deck. I begin every reading with a three card pull in a generalized “PAST PRESENT FUTURE” format. After that, I pull cards intuitively as you talk or when I need clarification. A reading will show anywhere from six to twenty plus cards within the hour. I often say phrases or things that at times I do not remember later (a bit of a channel). It is recommended to take notes or record the reading. You can always photograph your spread at the end of a session. I close every reading with a single card to condense the hour.

My Readings

My reading will bring directive “spiritual homework,” ways to break through blockages, emotional stickiness, or develop your strengths. I stray away from being rigid and “predictive” but I can talk with you via my intuition about what COULD happen if patterns, energies, etc continue or change. I love analogies and making jokes. Lets laugh, lets cry. I will occasionally say “This is just me talking” if I have something outside the cards to relay because as a creative person, I often am delighted to connect with other creative people in this space. Almost every reading has a “theme” or word that carries throughout the hour. 

My Philosophy

I create a safe space for you. I have honed these readings to hold lots of different queries. I believe in only using cards to exemplify a querent’s potential, gifts, and more. When looking at “issues,” I emphasize the positive, the ways to find your expansive self and problem solve with things you may already know, see, feel, or have forgotten. I am not a predictive reader but more of an intuitive guidance reader. I value collaborative conversational readings..
